Puppy
Classes

This is a fun class that helps all young puppy owners learn what it takes to be a new pet parent. Whether you own a dog for the first time or you just have a new addition to your family, this is a great place to start. Our Kindergarten class is based on socialization and early training habits.
Puppies should be no older than 14 weeks at the start of the first class.

For basic training, or dogs older than 16 weeks, go to the Basic Obedience Class.

Learn about the following topics:

  • Socialization
  • Basic equipment and leash training
  • Grooming and nail trimming
  • Crate training and confinement options
  • How dogs should interact with each other through socialization and play time.
  • How pack order and structure affects the dogs in a human household.
  • House Training
  • Mouthing
  • Chewing

Participants are all required to bring proof of up-to-date vaccinations.

The puppy class size is limited so sign-up now. Sound Animal Services Puppy Kindergarten Classes are $125 for the 4 week course, payable by check or cash on the first night of class.

These classes are held at our facility in the Interbay area between Magnolia and Queen Anne.
